Collection: Oil Paintings

I paint using oils on canvas. Sometimes I use acrylic paint as an underlayer. My oil paintings are varnished and framed when dry. A lot of care and time goes into each painting. It begins with a sketch of the subject and a plan for the creation of the painting. Following this I will often do a small study before working on the larger canvas. I work from my studio at my home on the Cavan/Meath border. My art is inspired by nature.

My paintings that are framed are all framed by Meath based Artist Henry McGrane, and Westmeath based framer Tadgh at "The folks who live on the hill" and Dealg Frame and Art in Co Louth.  Great care is taken with packaging paintings for delivery, all packaging is 100% recycled and when at all possible I like to hand deliver original paintings. If paintings are being delivered I always use tracked painting with an post.

I paint Wildlife, Equine Art, Floral Art and Landscapes. All of my art is authentic and original and based on our Irish nature and Irish heritage.
