Croi na Coille- The heart of the forest. The strength of the Stag.

This original oil painting is of the Irish Stag and the signature piece of my new collection. The stag suggests sovereignty, wilderness, and represents the ancient cycles of renewal. It is painted on a handcrafted canvas and frame, in a window shape that is custom made in County WestMeath, grounding the work materially in the local landscape where its subject matter is drawn. 

This enhances the view of the painting as a symbolic portal, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface of the image into a liminal, otherworldly dimension. Framed with gold finish for a sophisticated feel.
