Giorria Éireannach- The Irish Hare.

This original oil painting is of the an Irish hare and one of the three 'portal' pieces from my new collection. The Hare signifies transformation and mythical resonance. It is painted on a handcrafted canvas and frame, in a window shape that is custom made in County WestMeath, grounding the work materially in the local landscape where its subject matter is drawn. 

This enhances the view of the painting as a symbolic portal, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface of the image into a liminal, otherworldly dimension. Framed with gold finish for a sophisticated feel.
