Wintering is a concept that describes how humans and animals adapt to challenging seasons. I very much leaned into this since September where I withdrew a bit from the business of life, and nurtured my creativity with walks, reading, listening to music and podcasts and spending many hours in the studio. This was when I created this body of work depicting a night-time seascape and some native Irish Wildlife as I would imagine them at night time and in the snow.
Also in the collection I am including two new robin paintings and limited edition prints, and 20% of the proceeds of these robin fine art prints will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society.
