Collection: Landscape Paintings

I work with oils on canvas to create my landscape paintings. I am drawn constantly to the landscape and beauty around me especially in Co Cavan and Co Meath. Over the past number of years I have painted the local lake of Lough Sheelin, the glistening water and the beautiful Loughcrew Cairns just outside my local town of Oldcastle, Co Meath. This megalithic tomb is a beautiful place to paint with views all over the surrounding counties.

My love for Landscape painting really flourished when I was selected as a Wildcard for Landscape Artist of the Year in 2022 where we painted the historic Caste Ward in Downpatrick. 

My most important commission to date has been the painting of a sunset over the River Erne which flows between Cavan and Fermanagh. This painting was commissioned by Creative Cavan for their Art of Life Project and now is on permanent display in Baileoborough Library in Co Cavan.

I love doing landscape art, hope to expand my landscapes paintings, en plein air and in studio and complete some more special landmarks in the coming year.
