The Lone Swan- Oil on Canvas

A lone swan resides on Lough Sheelin Shore. I saw this Swan on a January morning and it woke with sunrise and swam towards Church Island. It seemed to me a symbol of Orwin’s death and his ‘thin receding spirit’ disappearing from Sebana.
